Our Story
Founded by a team of passionate driving instructors with extensive experience in the industry, Helptopass Driving School was established with a vision to revolutionise the way people learn to drive. We understand that learning to drive is more than just obtaining a license; it’s about gaining the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure a lifetime of safe and enjoyable driving experiences.
What Sets Us Apart
- Expert Instructors: Our dedicated team of certified driving instructors brings a wealth of knowledge and patience to every lesson. They are committed not only to helping you pass your test but also to instilling safe and responsible driving practices. If you need a different instructor for any reason, we’ll arrange that with no extra admin fee. All our instructors are fully vetted, including enhanced DBS checks via the DVSA.
- Specialist Tuition Vehicles: All our instructors teach in dual-control tuition cars for your safety. The cars are all smaller vehicles that are easier for new drivers to handle.
- High Availability: Get lessons at times to suit you — even at short notice. Our instructors work 7 days a week, including evenings, covering most areas of Bristol and both test centres (Kingswood and Avonmouth). We can normally find you an instructor within 3 days and start lessons within 5. We’ll refund your booking fee if we can’t provide an instructor or book a test within three weeks.
- Test Bookings: We offer a test booking service for our learners. If you’ve already booked a test in as little as two weeks and need lessons urgently, we can usually find you an instructor in time.
- Simple Payments: Choose between paying for the full course up front or paying your instructor for each lesson. We don’t charge an extra admin fee if you need to extend your course — just arrange this with your instructor.
- Comprehensive Courses: From standard driving lessons to intensive crash courses, we offer a range of comprehensive driving packages tailored to meet your specific needs and goals.
- Proven Success: We take pride in our high pass rates and the success stories of our students who have gone on to become confident and skilled drivers, equipped to handle various road situations.
- Interactive Learning: Our lessons are engaging and interactive, utilising the latest teaching techniques and resources to ensure an enjoyable and effective learning experience.
